We specialize in the Dominican Republic market, and work with our sister company, West Indies Real Estate, which has been operating in the DR for more than 20-years.
We are a group of experienced realtors, mortgage financing experts, and marketers who know and understand the needs of the North American and European markets. We live in and work in Canada, the US, and the Dominican Republic.
Our services are tailored to the Canadian and US investment property buyer. We counsel and advise on areas regarding purchasing properties, taxes, rental markets, travel, etc., and have a hands on, service-oriented approach.

Colleen Valerio, Edmonton, Canada / Sosua, Dominican Republic Client Services/Marketing Colleen has an extensive marketing background in both real estate and construction and an indepth knowledge of the DR property marketplace. Being Canadian, she specializes in working with our Canadian buyers and knows their specialized needs. Colleen's role in West Indies Connections is to develop our client marketing strategies, but more importantly, to provide one-on-one service to Canadian clients. |

Mel Valerio, Edmonton, Canada / Sosua, Dominican Republic Mortgage Broker Mel has been working in the finance industry for over 30-years. He was a Canadian bank manager for 25 of those years, but moved completely into his first love, mortgage brokering, over 7-years ago. Mel can provide financing for Caribbean properties through North American, European, and Dominican lenders. As a Canadian mortgage brokerage, he can also help clients with financing on their Canadian properties to help finance Caribbean real estate. |

Judith Fox-Hogg, Sosua, Dominican Republic Real Estate Specialist, Residential Property/Marketing Judith specializes in finding our clients the exact right property in the Dominican Republic. Originally from the UK, Judith has a special understanding of our European clients and their needs. She is also part owner of our sister company, West Indies Real Estate, and works diligently in the real estate market to build relationships that lead to finding our clients the best properties for sale. |

Paul Hogg, Sosua, Dominican Republic Real Estate Specialist, Construction and Developing Also originally from the UK, but now a permanent DR resident, Paul looks after clients looking to either develop land, buy or invest in large projects, or be part of a commercial transaction. He has extensive knowledge regarding DR laws and can help a client from beginning to the completion of their project. Paul is also part owner of West Indies Real Estate. |
